Blue Ash-Glazed Tokoname Teacup - 140ml

This sleek Tokoname yunomi (teacup) is made from a dark clay and has a classic tulip shape with a subtly everted lip. The cup has two levels of decoration, a brown splattering partially covered in a draping of a blue-green ash glaze.

This cup is a perfect middle size for sencha or other teas. Cups of these size and shape are also called kumidashi (汲出) or senchawan (煎茶碗).
