Japanese Kyusu - Engraved Geometric Banko-yaki Debeso Teapot - 200ml

This Banko-yaki kyusu (teapot) is engraved with geometric motifs on its body and lid, and features a debeso style ceramic strainer which won't impart a metallic taste to your tea.

Banko-yaki (萬古焼) is a type of Japanese pottery that traditionally comes from Yokkaichi in Mie Prefecture, Japan. Its characteristic purple hue comes from the mixture of red oxidised iron and blue high temperature-baked iron in the clay.
