This small and adorable maru-gata Tokoname-yaki kyusu (teapot) is made from a reddish-brown clay, decorated with vertical stripes.
Its obi-ami stainless steel mesh filter wraps all the way around the inside of the pot, and is perfect for brewing even the most deeply-steamed fukamushi senchas.
Made by Genzou Kiln (原三窯). As Genzou-san has recently retired, the kiln has ceased production.
