This uniquely crafted maru-gata Tokoname-yaki kyusu (teapot) is made in one of Junzō's signature styles called kurokinsai (黒金彩 - black gold), featuring sparkling gold atop a matte black background. The overall impression is somehow both rustic and luxurious. The interior of the kyusu remains unglazed.
In addition to this interesting decoration, the shape of the pot stands out with its belt of fluting or faceting, which along with its small and narrow foot give the pot a unique silhouette.
