This excellent Ao-Oribe chawan (matcha bowl) features a delightfully tapered shape. It is glazed in a finely crazed light cream, accented by abstract iron underpainting and splashes of green enamel.
Made by Harumine Umemura (梅村晴峰) of Rogetsu Kiln (弄月窯) located in Akazu city in Seto. This chawan ships in its original tomobako (wooden paulownia box).
