Japanese Mizusashi - Green Hare's Fur Drip-Glazed Fresh Water Container - 1200ml

This awesome mizusashi (water container) features a spiraling orange clay body and a dramatic green hare's fur drip-glaze.

A mizusashi (水指 - fresh water container) is used to store fresh water used to refill the kama (釜 - kettle) during a tea ceremony. They are usually made from ceramics, lacquer, or occasionally bare wood.
