This porcelain Japanese tea set includes one houhin (handleless teapot), one yuzamashi (water cooler) and four matching gyokurowan (small teacups ideal for gyokuro), each featuring a gilded floral decorations.

Compared to a kyusu, a houhin has a wide, triangular open spout which allows for fast pouring, and a wide opening which allows for easy viewing of the tea leaves and easy cleaning.
