This tea ceremony utensil set consists of a Kyo-yaki furidashi (sweets container) and chakindashi (holder for the chakin/tea cloth); along with lacquered kogo (incense container) and chasenzutsu (matcha whisk holder, for small nodate-sized whisks). Each item is decorated with a traditional fan motif.

Kyo-yaki (京焼) is a type of Japanese pottery that traditionally comes from Kyoto, Japan. The pottery traditions of Kyoto date back to the 5th century and are varied in their styles.
