This simple and elegant senchawan (sencha cup) is made in a clean, modern, and minimalist style, made from black Tokoname kokudei (黒泥) clay. At the base of the interior is a small circle of white slip, which allows you to see the true colour of the tea.
With a classic tulip shape and a modest 35ml capacity, this cup is ideal for savouring high-grade sencha or gyokuro, and also functions well as a cup for gong fu cha.
